On generalized Erd?s spaces

During the last years both Erd?s space and complete Erd?s space were topologically characterized by Dijkstra and van Mill. Applications include results about Erd?s type spaces in ?p-spaces as well as results about Polishable ideals on ω. We present an unifying theorem in terms of sets with a reflexive relation that among other things contains these apparently dissimilar results as special cases.     

On the stability of the additive Cauchy functional equation in random normed spaces

Some stability results for the functional equations of Cauchy and Jensen in probabilistic setting are proved by using the fixed point method.     

Fixed point theorems for generalized contractions in ordered metric spaces

The purpose of this paper is to present some fixed point results for self-generalized contractions in ordered metric spaces. Our results generalize and extend some recent results of A.C.M. Ran, M.C. A birth–death model for Web cache systems: Numerical solutions and simulation

In this paper, we study Web cache hit rates by introducing a birth–death model. A system consisting of a single Web server with a single cache stores Web pages that are classified as hot pages (popular pages) and cold pages (less popular pages). Given requested probabilities for each class, the stochastic model provides the mean hit rate for a random replacement algorithm and the upper and low bounds for other algorithms. Numerical results from the analysis are validated using the output of simulation programs that utilize the LRU algorithm.     

A constructive proof of Ky Fan’s coincidence theorem

We present a constructive proof for the well-known Ky Fan’s coincidence theorem through a simplicial algorithm. In a finite number of steps the algorithm generates a simplex containing an approximate coincidence point. In the limit, when the mesh size converges to zero, the sequence of approximations converges to a coincidence point. This research was carried out while the second author was visiting the CentER for Economic Research, Tilburg University. Sol-Gel Distribution of Polycondensation Reaction

A theoretical approach to polycondensation reaction of Aa-Bb type Involving intramolecular cycllzatlon has been proposed by Tang Au-chin et al.. In this paper, the theoretical sol-gel distribution is tested by polycondensation of adipic acid with trimethylol propane in a sto-ichiometric ratio of 0. 8, and the effect of intramolecular cyclization is discussed in detail.     

On the Growth and Fixed Points of Solutions of Second Order Differential Equations with Meromorphic Coefficients

In this paper, we investigate the growth and fixed points of solutions and their 1st, 2nd derivatives, differential polynomial of second order linear differential equations with meromorphic coefficients, and obtain that the exponents of convergence of these fixed points are all equal to the order of growth.     

Fixed point theorems of ? convex −ψ concave mixed monotone operators and applications

In this paper, ? convex −ψ concave mixed monotone operators are introduced and some new existence and uniqueness theorems of fixed points for mixed monotone operators with such convexity concavity are obtained. As an application, we give one example to illustrate our results.     

Global asymptotic stability of solutions of a functional integral equation

Using the technique of measures of noncompactness we prove a theorem on the existence and global asymptotic stability of solutions of a functional integral equation. The investigations are placed in the Banach space of real functions defined, continuous and bounded on an unbounded interval. A few realizations of the result obtained are indicated.     

测度链上p-Laplacian边值问题的三个正对称解

该文研究了p-Laplacian动力边值问题（g（u^△（t）））△＋a（t）f（t，u（t））=0，t∈[0，T]T,u（0）=u（T）=w，u△（0）=-u^△（T）正解的存在性．其中W是非负实数，g（v）=｜v｜p-2v1 P＞1．根据对称技巧和五泛函不动点定理，证明了边值问题至少有三个正的对称解，同时，给出了一个例子验证了我们的结果。
